How to Reach Us and What to Expect
CAC Tsavchuur is a small civic desk based in Ulaanbaatar. We collect and share practical information about community programs, district resources and public services, and we welcome questions, corrections and ideas from residents across the city. We are not a government office, so we cannot process applications, issue documents or make decisions on behalf of any public authority. What we can do is point you towards the right place and help you prepare.
Before you write to us
Many common questions are already answered elsewhere on the site. Our services overview explains where residents usually go for registration, social support and utility matters. The districts page gives an overview of how the city is organised and where local offices tend to be found. Checking these first often saves time.
Making your message useful
When you contact us, a few details help us give a clearer answer:
- Your district or khoroo, since many services depend on where you live.
- What you have already tried, such as offices visited or forms completed.
- Your preferred language, Mongolian or English.
Please do not send copies of identity cards, passport numbers or other sensitive personal documents. We do not need them to help, and keeping them out of email protects you.
Getting involved
If you would like to help with mapping, translation or neighbourhood outreach rather than ask a question, the volunteer page describes how residents take part. Suggestions for local projects, reports of outdated information and notes about changed office locations are especially valued, because accurate civic information depends on people who know their own streets.
We aim to reply as soon as we reasonably can. For urgent situations involving safety or health, always contact the official emergency services directly rather than waiting for a reply from us.
